This patient is so happy with her results from surgery!

She was bothered by her right ear sticking out. She had tried disguising with earrings or wearing her hair down. Even still, she still had a protruding ear.  This patient like many others drive from other states such as Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, and Delaware for the incisionless otoplasty. 

This procedure was performed without any noticeable scars! 

Incisionless otoplasty was performed in the office under local anesthesia. Patients can choose to take an anxiety pill if desired (and then need a ride home). After numbing is done, Dr. Carniol sculpts the ears uses very small needles. Then he uses stitches that lie underneath the skin to permanently hold the ear in proper location. Patients are wrapped up only overnight and then the wrap comes off for good. The procedure has all of the benefits of minimally invasive surgery!

The results are permanent and as you can see, very natural results. Patients will take tylenol/advil usually for just a couple days, as this procedure is associated with less pain than the traditional otoplasty (ear pinning) procedure).
