Incisionless otoplasty was performed in the office under local anesthesia. Patients can choose to take an anxiety pill if desired (and then need a ride home). After numbing is done, Dr. Carniol sculpts the ears uses very small needles. Then he uses stitches that lie underneath the skin to permanently hold the ear in proper location. Patients are wrapped up only overnight and then the wrap comes off for good. The procedure has all of the benefits of minimally invasive surgery!
