In the United States the FDA has just approved PelleFirm for the temporary improvement in the appearance of cellulite. It improves the cellulite by reducing dimples and smoothing the cellulite.
In Europe PelleFirm is CE marked for body skin tightening, and cellulite. Internationally, it has been reported to be used to improve the appearance of the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs.
PelleFirm uses noninvasive radiofrequency to improve the appearance of legs, stomachs, and arms. Typically, a series of three treatments is performed. These are performed in the office. No anesthesia is necessary. As with any procedure the results can vary. We anticipate that maintenance treatments will also be necessary.
